New sax player, new demo, new danger! We felt it was time to revisit our demo album now that
Gareth has joined us and so we decamped to our favourite studio The White Room run by the estimable Mark Watts and cut some new live recordings.
Yes, these are one take recordings.... Recorded straight to a beautiful Mac G4 by Jack, our engineer who was able to manipulate our bits (Ooooh, Matron!)
to extract every last ounce of pure, fusion power!

2004 Demo recordings
We cover a few Dave Weckl numbers, and this wild romp in 6/8 sums up what is great about this drummer's musical style. Great fun...We're still toying with a bridge in 5/8 based on Mission Impossible!
Steely Dan - what can you say? Ironic and complex. How do we do it with just five musicians? Bring on the Roland GR-1 guitar synth...
Steely Dan - again. If we didn't cover 'em it would be all instrumentals! Enlightenment achieved....
Steely Dan - yet again. We actually play this number in a medley with Bhodisattava - obviously, we couldn't figure out how to stop! A song about a jeweller with an obsession... we think.
